SANTA MONICA, CA – July 29th – It’s Friday evening and you want to celebrate the beginning of the sabbath by laughing your tuchus off? Get ready to Shabbat shaLOL with comedian Abby Feldman (Netflix, Adult Swim, JFL New Faces) and her new live musical comedy variety stand up shabbat show Call Me By My Hebrew Name. Last Hanukkah Abby released the Jewish comedy pop anthem of our time “Call Me By My Hebrew Name” and the world hasn’t been the same. Jewish comedy enthusiasts want- nay- NEED more. And now they’re getting it! Starting Friday, July 29th and then continuing monthly every first Friday at 8pm with “Call Me By My Hebrew Name” LIVE at The Crow in Bergamot Station Arts Center. Feldman will perform original comedy songs, offer wisdom and spiritual nourishment as Rabbi Devorah, and feature freakishly funny guest comedians, improvised songs, and comedy SURPRISES! Bring your single friends so Abby can make a monthly shidduch and get a beach front villa in heaven. Goyim welcome. **PROOF OF CIRCUMCISION REQUIRED** (jk just make sure you wash it.)

Tickets are $20 and can be found on The Crow’s calendar and can be purchased here: https://www.crowcomedy.com/calendar/call-me-by-my-hebrew-name

Call Me By My Hebrew Name upcoming show schedule:

Fridays July 29, September 2, October 7, November 4, 2022 – all at 8pm

The Crow, LA’s newest comedy club on the scene, is woman (and Jewish mom) owned, an important distinction in the male-dominated comedy world. Envisioned as a response to the all-too-common gatekeeping at comedy theaters, this collaborative space is built around inclusivity and advancement for all. Owner Nicole Blaine emphasizes,“Using comedy as a vehicle for good and for social progress is who we are.” The Crow mixes stand-up, storytelling, improv, and musical comedy with different cultural perspectives to elevate the comedy culture and the community at-large. After-all, the club’s name, The CROW, stands for Comedy Reflects Our World.

If you’re craving an elevated bowl of matzo ball soup, The Crow just happens to be next door neighbors with Birdie G’s fine family dining, helmed by award-winning Chef and Co-Owner Jeremy Fox (also the chef/owner at Rustic Canyon) and Chef de Cuisine Matthew Schaler. Taking inspiration from Jeremy’s ancestral roots, the menu is an exploration and celebration of the cuisines of Hungary, Poland, Ukraine, Germany and more. Receive 10% off your tab with proof of an e-ticket to the show that same night!

To top off the perfect kosher comedy night, The Crow offers FREE PARKING at Bergamot Station Arts Center, complete with a security guard on campus  24/7.

Directions and parking can be found here: https://www.crowcomedy.com/directions

Abby Feldman Bio: Abby is a Fulbright Scholar-turned-comedy pop star with credits that include starring in and co-writing comedy series Gringolandia (Netflix), writing for The Fix with Jimmy Carr (Netflix) and Adult Swim’s Soft Focus with Jena Friedman, being a correspondent on comedy news show Redacted Tonight, a contributor to Reductress and one of Just For Laughs New Faces. Her comedy songs Soft to Get, Cellulite Summer and Astrology Song hit #1 on iTunes comedy charts, and her single Call Me By My Hebrew Name was in the top 10, only narrowly missing number 1 because she released it during Chanukah and Adam Sandler’s Chanukah Song was holding strong at the top, though rumor has it he was sweating bullets!

The Crow is located at Bergamot Station Arts Center. Bergamot Station is an internationally renowned creative arts complex, boasting some 20 venerable galleries and creative businesses. The fine art galleries present regular and diverse rotating exhibitions featuring artists from all over the globe and across all mediums. Bergamot Station Arts Center is a unique and unparalleled collection of fine art galleries.
