Layla Book started her matchmaking journey in 2014 as the founder and admin of the Facebook group Let’s Match our Single Jewish Friends , she hosts and produces singles events in the Los Angeles area and virtual events around the Globe, and is matchmaker to Jewish singles all across the world. Men and woman from all walks of life and locations contact Layla on a daily basis for dating advice and matchmaking. It is a passion that has turned into a full time one! Layla helps make quality matches to quality individuals. She has a Business Administration – Marketing Degree from Cal State University, Northridge and a Masters in Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
About Natalie Cohen, M.F.T.
Mrs. Natalie Cohen is a Marriage and Family Therapist, licensed by the state of California. Natalie has been working in mental health for more than two decades and currently maintains a private practice in Encino. She was previously the Clinical Director and creator of the Jewish Community Program by Evolve in Los Angeles. Moreover, Natalie Cohen has a diverse background having worked in many specialties including: chemical dependency and addiction, children who have been abused and neglected, adults who were abused as children, rape and sexual assault survivors, monolingual Spanish speakers, and working with people who have catastrophic illnesses and their families. In addition to trauma work, in her private practice Mrs. Cohen works with families, couples and individuals of all ages. This often includes themes such as: life changes, anxiety, depression, dating, and relationship issues of all types, career advancement, issues related to spirituality, communication training, marital issues and parenting. She has a B.A. from U.C. Berkeley and an M.A. in psychology from Pepperdine University. Of all of her accomplishments, Natalie is most proud of being a wife, a mother and a grandmother. She sees her work as an expression of her love for family and community.
