Entwine Down the Block | NYC

For the first time ever, JDC Entwine is heading Down the Block, exploring the global Jewish communities right in our backyards. Join us Sunday, August 22 from 10:00am-4:00pm as we explore the Russian-speaking Jewish community of Brighton Beach, Brooklyn. Together, we’ll learn about the migration of Jews from the Soviet Union to Brooklyn, taste the flavors this community brings to the neighborhood, and understand how the community has historically been served by local organizations.

Highlights of our day include:

• Walking tour of Brighton Beach
• Traditional (and DELICIOUS) Georgian lunch
• An intimate visit with a community organization serving immigrants from the former Soviet Union
• Insider access to your local community
• Meet new people and connect with like-minded folks in your city

Our entire day will take place in Brighton Beach, exact location for meet up will be provided upon confirmation.
