Dripping latkes. Dazzling doughnuts. Royal blue cocktails + mocktails. And sounds by DJ Lippy. To kick off Infinite Light, our ninth annual citywide Hanukkah festival, we’re taking over the rooftop of L.A.’s iconic Petersen Museum for a giant Hanukkah blowout. The museum will be open all night, and you can upgrade your ticket to check out the history floor and experience the legendary Petersen vault — or gift a ticket to someone else.
This year, Infinite Light is leaning into Hachnasat Orchim (the Jewish value of hospitality and welcoming) with dozens of opportunities to be our guest, and for you to be empowered to host and share. For First Night, we're embracing this by asking you to consider gifting a ticket forward for someone who needs help paying for one — and to let us know if cost is a barrier so we can help you out. (Just reach out to us at nuroots@jewishla.org.)
Infinite Light returns in December with a weeklong celebration of Hanukkah and a full slate of in-person events from NuRoots and our partners. Reflecting and drawing L.A.’s diverse community of young adults in their 20s and 30s and made in partnership with incredible organizations and co-creators, Infinite Light has been a citywide tradition since 2015. Learn more and discover the festival at nuroots.org/infinitelight.
Early bird for First Night is on through November 20 while tix last — with limited space for vault and history floor add-ons.
