Trybal Gatherings Ambassador DK is hosting an evening at the NY Historical Society to check out the new exhibition on Jewish delis.

Come join other Jews in their 20s and 30s for an evening exploration of the New York Historical Society’s new exhibit on Jewish delis. We will meet outside the NY Historical Society on 77th and Central Park West by 5:45 to enter at 6pm. To note, the society is “Pay As You Wish” on Friday evenings, so please consider giving any amount at the door. *Typically, entrance is $22 at all other times. Join us after for another classic NYC food as we’ll grab some pizza nearby!

A brief on the exhibition is below.

From nyhistory.org: “I’ll Have What She’s Having”: The Jewish Deli. Our special exhibition examines how Jewish immigrants, mostly from Central and Eastern Europe, imported and adapted traditions to create a uniquely American restaurant and reveals how Jewish delicatessens became a cornerstone of American food culture.

Trybal Gatherings is a national nonprofit that reimagines Jewish gatherings in a modern world. They offer innovative getaways for young adults and communities to connect, explore, play, and celebrate in a socially Jewish context. They host adult Jewish summer camps in The Berkshires, Georgia, California, the mid-West, and more!

*DK and Trybal Gatherings will not be charging for this gathering, but encourage you to contribute upon entry.
