The MJE Terry and Harry Pniewski memorial Program Presents:
YOM HASHOAH/ Holocaust Remembrance Day: Stories from a Survivor and Memorial Prayer Service
On Wednesday, April 27th, join MJE for the Annual Gathering of Remembrance, New York City’s largest gathering of young Jewish professionals in their 20s & 30s for Holocaust Commemoration. This year marks the 77th anniversary of the liberation of the camps and the end of the War. Join young Jewish professionals to honor the memory of those who perished at the hands of evil and pay tribute to those who survived to make a better world for us all. A special prayer and candle lighting ceremony will be followed by first hand accounts of survival and bravery.
Unique and personal, this interview will not only recount important personal history but also places emphasis on how we, the next generation, can make sure those who were lost are never forgotten.
Over 100 YJPs are expected. Please join us and be a part of this memorable and inspiring evening.
Seating is limited
Date: April 27th Time: 7:30 pm Location: Manhattan Jewish Experience 131 West 86th Street Cost: $5.00
