This beautiful evening will include: \n\nA live jazz band\, the Idan Morim Trio\, x2 grammy nominated artist\nOpen bar including a curated selection of natural and kosher wines\nAn indulgent cheese and chocolate tasting\nA gourmet kosher vegan dinner\, all included with your ticket\n\nSpecial guest Marlene Kolangi\, founder of Orphans of 10/7\, will share her inspiring story of resilience and hope. \nIn addition to all proceeds from the event benefiting these two organizations\, 5% of every Lily Fine Jewelry sale continues to support their missions year-round. \nGiving Back in Style\nYour ticket purchase is a tax-deductible donation\, with 100% of profits directly supporting the children of Lev LaLev and Orphans of 10/7. \nAs our way of saying thank you\, all guests have the option to enter an exclusive raffle to win a Lily Fine Jewelry pendant of your choice (valued up to $1\,040). SUMMARY:Bridges in Sound Concert Series: Spirituals and Beyond
DESCRIPTION:BJ Music Director Dan Nadel curates and leads a yearlong concert series in collaboration with Congregation Rodeph Sholom\, co-sponsored by B’nai Jeshurun. This evening celebrates spirituals and American music with a prophetic voice\, journeying through the deep tradition of African American spirituals and American songs that call us toward justice. It brings forward themes of resilience\, faith\, and liberation that resonate with the Jewish story and spirit. \nThe concert features Nia Drummond on vocals\, Joe Dyson on drums\, and Dan Nadel on guitar and music direction\, offering powerful performances\, rich sound\, and music that crosses traditions and speaks directly to the heart. \nThe Bridges in Sound Concert Series aims to bring together diverse musical traditions and transcultural voices\, exploring the emotional\, historical\, and spiritual threads that connect us through song. This series invites audiences into a space of deep listening and discovery\, where music becomes a shared language of longing\, resilience\, and unity.

SUMMARY:Winter Concert: Yale Strom & Hot Pstromi—Music\, Memories\, Celebration!
DESCRIPTION:As the city shuts down on December 25th\, the Museum at Eldridge Street on Manhattan’s historic Lower East Side comes to life for an afternoon of soulful and spirited klezmer music that is sure to engage the whole family! \nEvery year\, the Museum is excited to host our annual winter concert\, bringing together folks of all ages to celebrate the holiday season in the most beautiful interior in New York City. This year\, we are thrilled to welcome back klezmer artist and scholar Yale Strom and his band\, Hot Pstromi\, who will mix classic Yiddish songs and klezmer melodies with original compositions. You will also hear traditional songs and tunes Yale Strom found during his years of ethnographic field research in Eastern Europe. \nThe number 18 is significant in Jewish numerology\, meaning life\, and this concert comes 18 years after Yale Strom led A Great Day on Eldridge Street in October of 2007\, an unprecedented gathering of over 100 klezmer musicians on the steps of the Eldridge Street Synagogue. Two months later\, our 20-year restoration was finally complete\, and this historical testament to Jewish life became the Museum at Eldridge Street. Join Yale Strom & Hot Pstromi in the place where it all began to celebrate this beautiful milestone together. \nMusicians: Yale Strom (violin)\, Elizabeth Schwartz (vocals)\, Jasper Dutz (reeds)\, Ben Rosenblum (accordion)\, Brian Glassman (contrabass)\, David Licht (percussion) \nWinter Concert Tickets:\nAdult $25 (at-the-door $30)\nStudent/Senior $20 (at-the-door $25)\nChild 5-17 $15 (at-the-door $20)\nChild Under 5 FREE\nCool Culture Pass / SNAP Benefits $5 \nREGISTER HERE\nThere are no assigned seats.

SUMMARY:Music Circle
DESCRIPTION:Song connects us to our bodies\, to those who surround us\, to those who have sung these melodies before and those who will sing them after us. Here at Tribe 12\, we want to find more ways for our community to connect deeply in our joy and our struggles through song. Rabbinic Intern Adina will lead us in music both contemporary and classic\, in Hebrew and English. We invite you to bring your voice AND any other instrument you wish: guitar\, drum\, flute\, violin\, and more to play along. It’s all welcome! \nTribe 12 connects people in their 20s/30s to Jewish life and community in Philadelphia today so they will choose to stay connected tomorrow. We welcome people who identify as Jewish\, whose partner is Jewish\, or who are exploring Judaism. If you require any accommodations in order to fully participate in our programming\, please see our page on accommodations. SUMMARY:Eyal Vilner Big Band Concert: The New Roaring Twenties!
DESCRIPTION:The Eyal Vilner Big Band is back on Eldridge Street for a concert bringing a unique and fresh voice to classic traditions of jazz\, swing\, and the blues. \nJazz music is communal music\, coming from Black American communities around the country\, but especially in the Harlem neighborhood of New York City. It helped people rise\, process good times and bad\, and lift spirits. It is because of the music’s appeal to the full spectrum of humanity—hardship\, joy\, love\, anger\, serenity—that jazz\, including lindy hop and swing\, became so widely loved\, and came to define the 1920s and beyond\, both at home and abroad. \nThe history of jazz is also inextricably linked with the Eastern European Jewish immigration story. Benny Goodman\, the son of Eastern European Jewish immigrants and known as “The King of Swing\,” led one of the first integrated jazz groups during an era of racial segregation. Before moving to New York City\, Goodman got his start at Chicago’s Kehelah Jacob Synagogue\, where he received his first clarinet. The iconic jazz musician Louis Armstrong banded together with the Jewish community of New Orleans over shared struggle\, and got his start as a young boy working with the Karnofsky family\, recently arrived Jewish immigrants from Lithuania. He wore a Star of David around his neck for much of his life as an affectionate tribute to them. Of course\, you cannot forget Irving Berlin\, himself a Jewish immigrant from Eastern Europe\, whose music forms some of the most iconic jazz standards\, and what would become the Great American Songbook. \nJoin the Eyal Vilner Big Band as they revive this iconic music for a new Roaring Twenties in 2025. The program will include reimagined classics in addition to a selection of original compositions.
