Washington Hebrew now welcomes her to discuss the book\, which offers readers a rare\, ground-level understanding of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through the hearts and homes of its people. Rather than focusing on their last moments\, “10/7: 100 Human Stories” weaves together rich human stories with larger historical and political contexts. \n \nRSVP \nAbout the Author\nIn addition to becoming the youngest winner of the National Jewish Book Award’s Book of the Year in 2024\, Lee Yaron also received the 2025 Natan Notable Books award and was named to Forbes’ coveted 30 Under 30 list 2025 for her book\, “10/7: 100 Human Stories.” Yaron’s reporting has led to the establishment of state-level commissions and changes in Israeli policy and law\, earning her the 2022 Yitzhak Livni “Knight” Award for Free Speech in Media. She is an elected member-representative of the Executive Committee of the Union of Israeli. Yaron’s expertise has been showcased on major American television networks\, including Good Morning America\, Morning Joe\, CNN\, and MSNBC\, as well as prominent European channels like France 24 and German ARD. Her work has been featured in The Atlantic\, The Forward\, Tablet\, New York Magazine\, and Haaretz. With animals grazing nearby and the quiet beauty of the countryside all around\, the setting offers a rare moment of calm and reflection. \nThe tranquility of the farm is a powerful reminder of what freedom and safety feel like – and why protecting those freedoms matters so deeply. \nThe evening will feature remarks from Brooke Goldstein\, founder of The Lawfare Project and the driving force behind the #EndJewHatred movement. Brooke is an internationally recognized civil rights attorney who has dedicated nearly two decades to confronting antisemitism through the law. \nThrough strategic litigation\, civil rights advocacy\, and counter-terrorism legal work\, The Lawfare Project works globally to defend Jewish communities and ensure that Jewish people receive the same legal protections afforded to every other minority.
