SUMMARY:Jewish Mysticism 101
DESCRIPTION:Join Rabbinic Intern Molly in an intro course on Jewish Mysticism. Together we will learn about different expressions of the Jewish mystical tradition\, with a particular focus on Kabbalah\, Hasidism\, and the Sefirot. This class is designed for folks looking for an introduction into Jewish mysticism and no prior knowledge is necessary. \nOur class will begin with an overview of mysticism and the sefirot\, so that during the second week of class participants will feel comfortable experiencing one of the mystical traditions started by the Kabbalists in Safed\, a Tu B’shvat seder. Our final two classes will then build on that learning and dive deeper into mystical expressions in our modern context. \nSessions will be held on February 5th\, 12th\, 19th\, and 26th from 6:30-8:30pm at the Weitzman. Class registration includes a spot at the Tribe 12 Tu B’shvat Seder on February 12th. Cost is $36 for the series which includes a vegetarian dinner each class with no one turned away for lack of funds.

SUMMARY:Museum and Mingle PRIVATE TOUR
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a unique and exciting afternoon designed for Jewish singles*! \nThis month we will be hosting a private tour of the Museum at Eldridge Street. This is a fantastic opportunity to visit this historic museum. Our fully private tour is only $10 per person (includes your museum admission)\, which offers a huge savings vs regular ticket prices (normally $15). \nThe Museum at Eldridge Street is housed in the historic Eldridge Street Synagogue. Built in 1887\, it is an architectural marvel and a symbol of immigrant aspirations realized. The building is the first grand synagogue purpose-built by Eastern European Jewish immigrants in the United States\, and was nearly lost to neglect before restorations. Please note\, it’s NOT AN ART MUSEUM (although we love those\, too!) \nAfter the tour\, we’ll head to a nearby venue to enjoy delicious food and drinks\, where you can mingle\, connect\, and continue the conversation in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. \nDetails: \n???? Museum Admission and tour is included in your $10 ticket. Must be prepaid\, no refunds. We cannot offer any refunds since we are getting a group rate. Museum and Mingle doesn’t make any profit or charge any fees\, so your ticket is purely the rate the museum has generously offered us. Therefore there are NO REFUNDS. We appreciate your understanding! \n????️ Tour: This private tour will be lead by a docent from the museum. It will only include our group.\nWe’ll meet at 2pm nearby and head into the museum together. Details will be sent to ticket holders. \n???? Post-Tour Hangout: We’ll gather for food and drinks at a nearby venue TBD Please budget accordingly \nPlease let us know if you have dietary restrictions or only eat Kosher\, the restaurant we go to is flexible. Open to suggestions!\nFood and drinks are not included. \nCome for the culture\, stay for the conversation – it’s the perfect chance to meet new people\, enjoy great company\, and have a memorable afternoon! \n*This event was created in response to the growing demand for more non-party singles events\, but it is not limited to singles. It is open to all art\, culture\, and museum enthusiasts. Who knows—you might even meet someone perfect for a single friend! The goal is to gather around shared interests\, enjoy the experience together\, and make meaningful connections with like-minded individuals. \nHuge thank you to the Museum at Eldridge Street for supporting our mission of bringing Jews together and offering us a wonderful discounted rate\, making this event more accessible to attendees. \nSpace is limited – RSVP today!
