We’ll depart at 12:15 PM and head down to ride around the Hains Point loop (8.8 mile total ride). Option to relax at the Jefferson memorial for a shorter ride or continue the full loop around Hains Point. This is a social ride open to all\, and we will divide into pace groups. The whole family can enjoy hamantashen and bourekas while taking in the spiritual stylings of Pharaoh’s Daughter\, as they travel through continents\, key signatures\, and languages (without leaving Williamsburg!) Come wearing your Purim costumes! \n\n\n\nAbout Pharaoh’s Daughter: \nPharaoh’s Daughter is a pan-Mediterranean psychedelic band\, exploring the traditional\, while staying contemporary. Their signature fusion sounds are filtered through percussion\, flute\, strings and electronica\, and combine swirling Hasidic chants with Mizrachi and Sephardi folk-rock. \nPharaoh’s Daughter has recorded five albums with a family of downtown NYC stand out musicians. Not everyone knows who is poor\, and who is Jewish\, and has the time and ability to find those in need on the right day.\nAs a Rabbi who helps a lot people in need\, Rabbi Yonah is connected to these poor Jewish families and those Jews in need all year round. And they are counting on him to help them in a big way on Purim.\nIf you donate to our campaign\, Rabbi Yonah will distribute the Tzedakah on your behalf to Jews who are in REAL NEED. This money helps them pay off debts\, get their cell phone turned on\, buy a new pair of shoes for their kids from thrift store. It’s a GIANT mitzvah!
