SUMMARY:Purim Masquerade Party with GLOE and Partners
DESCRIPTION:Let’s come together in community and partake in the traditions of Purim\, a holiday celebrating joyous self-expression and revelry. Join GLOE\, the LGBTQ program of the Edlavitch DCJCC\, and our partners for a Purim celebration at Franklin Hall. Make sure to come dressed in your best costume for our costume contest (prizes for most creative\, funniest\, best duo or group\, and best Purim-themed). There will be drag performances\, tarot card readings\, and of course hamantaschen and other Kosher snacks. All are welcome – friends\, partners\, allies\, and community members. \nPurim is a holiday of celebration but also one where we give gifts to those in need: we will be collecting donations of toothpaste and toothbrushes that will be given to those in our community in need as part of the EDCJCC’s Good Deeds Day.
