Gadeer was the first Druze woman to be elected to the Israeli Knesset\, and in 2017 broke yet another barrier by becoming the first non-Jewish anchorwoman in Israel to broadcast the evening news in Hebrew. We’ll hear about Gadeer’s amazing triumphs against remarkable odds\, her work to empower other women by creating opportunities for them to succeed\, and what being a Druze Israeli is like today.  \nLunch will be provided.  \nPresented in cooperation with the Jewish Agency For Israel.

Young Professionals ages 21 – 45 are invited to The Ted (z’l) & Hedy (z”l) Orden and Family Friday Night Live on  March 8 at 7pm! \nServices will be held in the Zieglar Hall and dinner will be held in Barad Hall! \nServices will be led by Duvid Swirsky and the FNL band. \nDuring this Friday Night Live\, we will be celebrating Purim throughout our services and dinner. We will hear from Rabbi Moe Scott\, nosh on some sandwhiches and hamantaschen\, and bring in Shabbat together! We hope to see you there. \nPlease let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.
