Registration coming soon! \nOur musical and inclusive Riverway Shabbat service will begin at 8:00pm\, followed by a chance to schmooze over drinks and desserts with old and new friends. The service and the dessert reception will remain open to anyone in their 20s &30s\, free of charge. For those joining us online\, the livestream of our service will begin at 8:00 p.m. \nJoin us for dinner* beginning at 6:45pm. We are pleased to cover the cost of this dinner for members of Temple Israel\, though we always welcome voluntary contributions. For non-members\, we ask for $18 to help offset the cost of food and drink. \nMembership at Temple Israel is a great way to deepen your relationship with this community\, to stand up and be counted\, and to affirm your investment in vibrant\, accessible\, intergenerational Jewish space. This experience is open to anyone in their 20s and 30s. \nWe will help organize camp gear and carpools for anyone who doesn’t have. \nYou’ll enjoy:\n– meals cooked over the campfire\n– shabbat dinner and singing\n– s’mores and other tasty treats\n– visiting the Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site\n– optional hiking and nature walks \nAttendees are asked to arrive on Friday afternoon between 5pm and 8pm. DESCRIPTION:The first Friday of each month\, our Shabbat activities start a little later. Most months\, there is also a post-service dinner available for the 2239 Young Professionals group.\n \nWe invite you to end your week and welcome Shabbat with us!\nAt 6:30 pm and again after the service: Have something to eat (to tide you over or as your dinner)\, a drink (we offer a full bar\, plus non-alcoholic options)\, and connect with your community. \nKids are always welcome\, and they’ll be able to eat before (and after) the service\, play Connect 4\,  or create at a coloring table. \n7:00 pm – Our Shabbat service begins. \nWatch the Livestream \nAfter the service – Stay for dessert\, or more food and drinks! \nRegistration for the 2239 dinner coming soon! \nSpecial thanks to our musicians who add so much to the service. So please email me to say hello atgianina@jw3.org.ukand I will make sure you’re welcomed when you arrive. \nI’m not in my 20s or 30s. Can I still come? \nWe’re glad you’re interested\, but this event is specifically geared towards people in their 20s and 30s! \nOur Young JW3 community is all about building a safe and welcoming space\, and we kindly ask that you respect this age guidance. \nDo I have to dress in a particular way? \nThere is no one way to dress for Friday night dinners. Some have the tradition of wearing their best clothes\, others like to be more casual\, a few of us may be coming straight from work in whatever we put on that morning. Whatever makes you feel good! \nDo I have to be a particular type of Jew to join? \nDefinitely not! Our Friday Nights are open to anyone who’s interested in marking the end of the week with friends\, food\, drink\, and good conversation. \nI’m [insert dietary requirements here]. Will there be food for me? \nOf course! All our food is certified Kosher and we can cater to additional dietary requirements (e.g. veggie/vegan) upon request.
