DESCRIPTION:Join ATID on Sunday\, April 14th at 10:15 AM for a 6 mile (round-trip)\nhike with 1100 feet elevation gain in Canyonback Nike Loop and should take roughly 3 hours. The hike features an abandoned Nike Missile Batterysite that was used during the cold war. There will also be views of LA spanning the mountains\, ocean and city skyline. \nIn accordance with Sinai Temple’s COVID-19 protocols (https://www.sinaitemple.org/covid-19/)\, please stay home if you are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms or have been directly exposed to someone with Covid-19. \nBring: At least two liters of water\, good hiking shoes\, long pants\, sun protection (sunscreen\, hat)\, layered clothing\, a snack\, and of course a big smile on your face! \nTransportation/Parking: Transportation/Parking: Use 17024 Mulholland Dr\, Brentwood\, CA 91436 for GPS purposes. DESCRIPTION:Join the EDCJCC for a group ride to see the cherry blossoms\, then head back to the JCC for a casual happy hour (21+). Wear your favorite bike friendly costume to celebrate Purim! We’ll depart at 12:15 PM and head down to ride around the Hains Point loop (8.8 mile total ride). Option to relax at the Jefferson memorial for a shorter ride or continue the full loop around Hains Point. This is a social ride open to all\, and we will divide into pace groups. We anticipate the memorial area to have heavy tourist foot traffic and will pace accordingly. \nCostume optional\, bike lights and helmets required. Meet at 12:00 PM by the EDCJCC Parking Lot. DESCRIPTION:Come join ATID on Sunday\, March 10th at 10:15 AM for a 5 mile (round-trip) hike! We would love to have you there!\n\n\nJoin ATID on Sunday\, March 10th at 10:15 AM for a 5 mile (round-trip) hike with 900 feet elevation gain in Green Griffith Park!  The hike features views that span the city and is expected to take about three hours.  Due to all the rain this year\, flowers may be in bloom along the way! \nIn accordance with Sinai Temple’s COVID-19 protocols (https://www.sinaitemple.org/covid-19/)\, please stay home if you are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms or have been directly exposed to someone with Covid-19. \nBring: At least two liters of water\, good hiking shoes\, long pants\, sun protection (sunscreen\, hat)\, layered clothing\, a snack\, and of course a big smile on your face! \nTransportation/Parking: Use 2700 N Vermont Canyon Rd\, Los Angeles\, CA 90027 for GPS purposes. Free parking is available in the area near the Greek Theater. You can also park in the city and take the DASH Observatory/Los Feliz from Vermont/Sunset Station to the Greek Theater. \nMeeting Point: Meet on the sidewalk in front of the Greek Theater marked by the large “The Greek Theater” sign. The theater is on the west side of Vermont Canyon Road 0.2 miles north of the park entrance. If you are running more than 10-15 minutes late and we have already started\, we will be taking the Riverside Trail to the Hogback Trail. \nDogs: Dogs are welcome if accompanied by their human. According to Griffith Park rules\, Dogs must be on leash at all times. \nQuestions? This initiative\, organized by the Hostages and Missing Families Forum\, in collaboration with the professional cycling team Israel Premier Tech\, the Israeli Foreign Ministry\, and the Israeli Cycling Federation\, aims to mark the hostages’ 100th day in captivity.DC Jews on Bikes will be riding in solidarity. Our moderate route begins with an ascent of the Culver City stairs and continues to the MLK memorial obelisk in Kenneth Hahn State park. The hike is 5 miles round trip with ~900 ft of elevation gain and is expected to take two and three quarters hours. \nIn accordance with Sinai Temple’s COVID-19 protocols (https://www.sinaitemple.org/covid-19/)\, please stay home if you are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms or have been directly exposed to someone with Covid-19. \nBring: At least two liters of water\, good hiking shoes\, long pants\, sun protection (sunscreen\, hat)\, layered clothing\, a snack\, and of course a big smile on your face! \nMeeting Point/Parking: Meeting Point/Parking: Meet at the trailhead at the intersection of Jefferson Blvd and Hetzler Rd near 6050 Jefferson Blvd\, Culver City\, CA 90232.
