Many award winners share personal stories that compelled them to get involved in the organization as a donor\, recipient\, supporter or volunteer. \nThe highlight of the evening is a first time meeting between a blood stem cell donor and recipient. The experience of witnessing a stem cell donor meeting the person whose lives they saved is truly magical. This heartwarming meeting has been performed more than 450 times over the years. \nIn addition\, Gift of Life celebrates it’s accomplishments over the past year and provides a glimpse of the company’s future plans and focus of getting everyone involved in curing blood cancer\, inherited immune disorders and other diseases. Gift of Life continues to facilitate the latest medical advances to help save patients in need. As they like to say\, the best is yet to come! \nGift of Life’s One Huge Night Gala takes place in New York City\, Los Angeles and Miami.

Most months\, there is also a post-service dinner available for the 2239 Young Professionals group.\n \nWe invite you to end your week and welcome Shabbat with us!\nAt 6:30 pm and again after the service: Have something to eat (to tide you over or as your dinner)\, a drink (we offer a full bar\, plus non-alcoholic options)\, and connect with your community. \nKids are always welcome\, and they’ll be able to eat before (and after) the service\, play Connect 4\,  or create at a coloring table. \n7:00 pm – Our Shabbat service begins. \nWatch the Livestream \nAfter the service – Stay for dessert\, or more food and drinks! \nRegistration for the 2239 dinner coming soon! \nSpecial thanks to our musicians who add so much to the service.
