Wine plays a central role in most holy moments\, whiskey and lechayims appear on Shabbat and wedding tables\, and we even have a holiday where we are commanded to drink (Purim). And yet\, the Talmud also has stories of lives being ruined literally and figuratively by alcohol. Join us for a four-part series to learn a bit more\, while we enjoy local beer\, wine\, and whiskey. We will kick off with a spring garden brewery tour open to all (Th 6/15)\, and then will gather for a local wine tasting (Tu 6/27)\, have Shabbat dinner together (F 7/14) and conclude with a visit to a local distillery (Th 7/20). \nYou can sign up for the whole series now or check out the first session and then decide if you want to come back for the rest! \n_________________________________  \nTribe 12 connects people in their 20s/30s to Jewish life and community in Philadelphia today so they will choose to stay connected tomorrow.
