SUMMARY:Midnight Tempo | Spring Blossom
DESCRIPTION:The harvest is here. The spirit awakens. We don’t just gather. We ascend. 🌿 \nMidnight Tempo invites you to a transcendent celebration of light\, community\, and sound. Inside the lush\, storied walls of EDEN’s Garden\, we mark the festival of first fruits with a curated evening designed for the dedicated few. \nStep into a sanctuary where nature and technology become one. Amidst cascading florals and shifting programmable LED landscapes\, we bridge the gap between ancient tradition and the cutting edge of the underground. This is a space of exclusivity and intimacy\, a gathering of the collective soul\, bound by a shared devotion to the beat. \nThis is more than an event. It is a Midnight Tempo ritual. \nThe Sonic Architects\nHeadlining the Night: MAGIT CACOON \nThe Vanguard: \n\nAziz\nArielle Marra\nEyal\n\nA global titan of electronic music\, Magit Cacoon returns to lead our congregation. Her sets are cinematic journeys\, hypnotic\, fearless\, and deeply emotional. From Berlin to Ibiza\, she has mastered the art of the sonic narrative; on May 23rd\, she brings that power to New York to celebrate Shavuot in a high-energy\, immersive atmosphere. \n\n\n\n✨ Dress Code: Boho Chic | Fluid textures\, organic layers.Express Yourself. \n\n\n🔥 Techno-Driven Sanctum | A dance floor fueled by pure energy. \n\n\n🌿 Immersive Botanicals | Visuals that blur the line between garden and machine. \n\n\n🤝 The Inner Circle | A high-level community of music lovers. \n\n\nMasks off. Hearts open. Pure Sound. Pure Connection. \nCapacity is strictly limited for this 21+ experience.Gather your circle. Secure your place in the Garden. The harvest has arrived.

SUMMARY:Hunger Action at DC Central Kitchen
DESCRIPTION:Join us to volunteer with DC Central Kitchen\, a close partner organization that uses volunteer help to transform 3\,000 pounds of otherwise wasted food into 5\,000 healthy meals for schools\, homeless shelters\, and social service agencies. Volunteers will work in their professional kitchen to chop vegetables\, sort fresh produce\, mix salads\, portion meals\, and more! \n \nPlease note that DCCK welcomes volunteers ages 12 and older for this opportunity. Teens ages 12-18 are invited to volunteer with the Youth Action Institute. We will meet at the DC Central Kitchen located in southwest DC. The address will be provided with registration. \n \nThere is limited space for this program and registration is required for participation. As DC Central Kitchen relies on a specific number of volunteers to be able to produce the meals they need\, we ask that you only register if you are committed to showing up to volunteer on this day. If you have any questions\, please reach out to Lyssa at ajellenik@edcjcc.org.

SUMMARY:Dating\, Desire\, and the Divine
DESCRIPTION:Sex isn’t a topic we talk about in public very often\, and even less is said about how it intersects with spirituality. What does Judaism actually say about pleasure? Is sex a spiritual act? How do we navigate ethics in modern relationships—monogamy\, polyamory\, and everything in between? \nDrawing from the Torah\, the Talmud\, and contemporary voices\, Rabbi Jenna is your hookup to all your juiciest questions about hooking up. Explore how Jewish tradition has understood bodies\, desire\, boundaries\, and connection—and where it leaves room for reinterpretation and resistance. This is a space for honest conversation about how we build relationships\, what we want\, what we struggle with\, and what it might mean to bring intention or even holiness into those dynamics. \nNo one will be turned away from any of our classes due to lack of funds. For more information\, please contact our Jewish Life Associate\, Robyn Fishman\, rfishman@sixthandi.org \nPlease note: tickets are non-refundable.

SUMMARY:Senator Chris Murphy
DESCRIPTION:Sen. Murphy views the Trump administration’s assaults on democracy as a symptom of a deeper crisis: the abandonment of the common good as our country’s organizing principle. In Crisis of the Common Good: The Fight for Meaning and Connection in a Broken America\, he draws on history and political philosophy to expose how six different cults have paved the way to our current troubles: a cult of profit that punishes workers\, a cult of globalism that weakens communities\, a cult of technology that turns us against one another\, a cult of consumption that undermines citizenship\, a cult of credentialism that devalues those without degrees\, and a cult of corruption that threatens democracy. \nwith Politics and Prose Bookstore \nEvents at Sixth & I \n\nSeating is primarily general admission; first-come\, first-served. There are some partial view seats on the balcony level. Display screens supplement sightlines.\nThere are a limited number of premium reserved seats on the main level and balcony. DESCRIPTION:After playing music in Boston for the last 4 years\, this is going to be my ‘Farewell concert’\, a final live performance before moving back to Haifa. It will feature a new collaborative band with Itay Dayan\, Debuting new music and old favorites from both our repertoires \nAbout Nadav\nNadav Brenner (b. 2000) is a Boston-based guitarist\, composer\, and singer-songwriter. He is currently engaged in indie folk\, Klezmer\, contemporary classical music\, modern jazz\, and improvised music. After receiving “Outstanding Musician” status in the IDF and performing at top jazz venues in Tel Aviv (Beit Ha’amudim\, Shablul)\, Nadav received a scholarship to study Jazz Composition at NEC\, working with Frank Carlberg and Jason Moran. As a side-person\, Nadav performs regularly with the KDF Big Band\, the Itay Dayan Quartet\, and the Jeff Sagurton Quintet\, as well as various ad-hoc groups at Wally’s and NEC recitals.Nadav graduated from Reut High School for the Arts with honors\, double majoring in jazz performance and contemporary composition.
