DESCRIPTION:One of the core values of Judaism is Tikkun Olam\, repairing the world. We are all obligated to play our part in this mission. This series\, led by Tribe 12 and NextGen will explore the myriad of ways that you can contribute to a more just world. We will examine Jewish texts related to communal responsibility and tzedakah (charitable giving)\, learn about local\, national and global Jewish organizations and the work they do to heal the world\, all while building a supportive and warm community of peers. DESCRIPTION:Come join DruzyaDC for an evening of Kayaking and Potluck BBQ.\nWe are doing this at Fletchers cove\, which is on canal road just past the chain bridge. There is plenty of parking. They have canoes\, Kayaks and rowboats for rent so if people want to boat with a partner\, you have options.\nWe will start early\, some people can stay and BBQ the whole time\, and some can join people who will kayak and then come back to the bbq.\nThe BBQ is potluck style\, so sign up down below (In Discussion section) for what you can bring or bring your favorite dish and add it to the list!!!\nhttps://docs.google.com/…/1u3nnIMb…/edit…\nWe will kayak up river to the bridge and back.\nPlease feel free to invite friends to join.
