Learn about the current community\, their cultural events\, community initiatives\, and the challenges they are facing today\, which shape the lives of today’s Czech Jews. \n\n\n\nAbout Emma \nEmma Günsberger graduated from the Lauder schools in Prague\, where she got involved in Jewish activism. For three years\, Emma was part of the event management team of the student conference at Lauder schools “In Medias Res”. \nShe is the current president of the Czech Union of Jewish Students (ČUŽM). In 2021 her Union was given the award “Developing Union of the Year” by EUJS. In 2022 she won the title “Union leader of the Year” and on top of that her union was awarded a prize for “Jewish Initiative of the Year”. \nShe also collaborated on the “Never Again Right Now” campaign. She has been an active contributor to EUJS (European Union of Jewish Students) and WUJS (World Union of Jewish Students) seminars\, congresses and other events.
