SUMMARY:Singles Speed Mixer & JxJ Film Festival Film Screening
DESCRIPTION:Hang out with EntryPointDC for a singles speed mixer. We will have some drinks and snacks\, feel free to bring dinner. We will then head to the film! \n\n\n\nOur singles speed dating mixer will begin at 6:30 PM\, and we will have a structured activity where you can meet new folks every few minutes. \n\n\n\nWe will head to theater around 7:30 ish PM \n\n\n\nABOUT THE FILM: \n\n\n\n“As romantically charming as Richard Linklater’s beloved Before Sunrise\, this Israeli drama charts the romantic destiny of Elik and Jimmy\, two distinct souls brought together by fate during the last hours of their military service. Jimmy\, an overweight and seemingly unambitious corporal\, crosses paths with Elik\, a strikingly beautiful officer with a sharp tongue. As the sun sets on their shared army days\, they accept the improbable odds of ever seeing each other again\, yet an inexplicable rapport emerges between them. Attuned to the sweeping grandeur of time’s passage as well as the evanescence of individual moments\, Elik and Jimmy is a beautiful chronicle of the love of two souls and an exploration of cinematic time as it captures their relationship as it begins\, begins again\, and deepens over the years.” –Miami Jewish Film Festival
