SUMMARY:Queer Singles Rainbow Picnic
DESCRIPTION:Save the date! Mick and Danielle are hosting a rainbow picnic for Philly’s queer Jewish singles. All sexual orientations\, gender identities\, and commitment preferences welcome! \nHey\, what’s a rainbow picnic? It’s a creative and collaborative riff on a traditional picnic. Every guest is assigned a color and that person is responsible for providing their share of the rainbow by bringing a food in their assigned color. Then everyone gets to share all the food and enjoy a fun\, colorful meal. \nDirections on your color will be sent to you after registration!  \n________________________________ \nTribe 12 connects people in their 20s/30s to Jewish life and community in Philadelphia today so they will choose to stay connected tomorrow. We welcome people who identify as Jewish\, whose partner is Jewish\, or who are exploring Judaism. Tribe 12 seeks to include all individuals regardless of gender or identity expression\, religious history and practice\, and financial circumstances. We strive to host inclusive\, accessible events that enable all individuals\, including disabled individuals\, to engage fully. If you require any accommodations please see our page on accommodations. Feel free to contact us with any questions at info@tribe12.org.

SUMMARY:Harlem Renaissance Art Viewing
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we view the groundbreaking exhibition ‘The Harlem Renaissance and Transatlantic Modernism’\, which explores the comprehensive and far-reaching ways in which Black artists portrayed everyday modern life. \nThe exhibit showcases 160 works of painting\, sculpture\, photography\, film\, and ephemera\, through which the viewer can explore the new Black cities that took shape in the 1920s–40s in New York City’s Harlem and nationwide in the early decades of the Great Migration\, when millions of African Americans began to move away from the segregated rural South. \nThe exhibition establishes the Harlem Renaissance and its radically new development of the modern Black subject as central to the development of international modern art. \n*Admission is pay what you wish for NY residents and NY\, NJ\, and CT students*
