Please be prepared to show ID. \n\n\nAbout DJ Joco: \nJoco\, a Brooklyn-based DJ\, creates a distinctive sound that blends house\, disco\, funk\, pop\, and Middle Eastern influences. Drawing on his Mizrahi Jewish heritage\, he incorporates melodies and chants from Middle Eastern pop stars\, seamlessly mixing Hebrew\, Arabic\, and English. This unique fusion transcends cultural boundaries and creates a vibrant musical experience. \n\n\nAbout the Sephardic Mizrahi Q Network: \nThe Sephardic Mizrahi Q Network is a grassroots movement committed to building a vibrant and supportive community for LGBTQ+ Sephardic & Mizrahi Jews. \n\n\nAbout The Neighborhood: An Urban Center for Jewish Life: \nThe Neighborhood: An Urban Center for Jewish Life is an inclusive and welcoming community. We aim to nurture Brooklyn’s role as a hub for Jewish art and culture\, locally and from around the world. We produce programs that raise up underrepresented perspectives\, and welcome the thousands of Brooklynites that have not yet found their Jewish home. We are creating a welcoming space that reflects the spirit of Brooklyn–future-thinking and deeply historical\, iconoclastic\, and sacred. \n\n\nAbout Kanisse: \nKanisse is a Modern Sephardic + Mizrahi Community that welcomes all to assemble\, celebrate\, and learn together\, both for prayer services\, as well as for cultural programming.
