We will use oral storytelling and writing to examine the boundaries of ritual and discuss open-ended questions: What are the parameters and definitions of meaningful ritual? How might we ‘borrow’ rituals from others\, create new practices\, or temporarily enter others’ ritual communities? Should we? How does sensory experience\, nature\, art\, and community\, as well as our personal histories\, religious and/or secular traditions\, inform ritual in our lives?
