DESCRIPTION:Dear LUNAR Fam\,  \n \nOur first-ever Asian-Jewish retreat in 2023 was amazing\, and we’re so excited that we get to do it again!  \n \nThis NY retreat will take place from August 8th – 10th.  \n \nThis retreat will focus on Asian Jewish identity processing\, community building\, nature\, and joy! We have a jam-packed and fun schedule in the works: think hiking in the fresh mountain air\, bringing in Shabbat over a fire\, sharing our heritage stories\, cozy pajama/movie nights\, and more! \n \nThis event is open to Asian American Jews. LUNAR defines ‘Asian American Jews’ as folks who identify as both Jewish (whether by heritage\, religion or culture) and Asian American – this includes mixed race folks\, transracial adoptees\, Asian Jews by Choice\, and more. We fully welcome those in the process of converting to Judaism or simply exploring Judaism.  \n \nThis event is open to Asian American Jews ages 21+.
