DESCRIPTION:Have you been seeking the right space to explore Judaism? We’d love to learn with you in our home\, Base UWS! Led by Rabbi Danny\, we’re creating a room where folks with all sorts of backgrounds and identities can learn together. Together\, we’ll explore Shabbat\, God\, Tzedakah (Charity)\, Holidays\, Prayer\, & Jewish History over the course of the Jewish Year 5786. Each topic is a cohort consisting of 4 classes and Shabbat dinner at Base UWS. \nOur Shabbat cohort will run meet on these Tuesdays from 8:00-9:30PM at Base UWS: \nNovember 4\nNovember 11\nNovember 18\nNovember 24 (*Monday*)\n+ Shabbat Dinner on Friday\, November 7 at 7:30PM. \nWhat is the cost? \nA suggested donation of $18 per person (includes all 4 classes and Shabbat dinner) can be made HERE. A few Jews & Brews members have messaged asking if I can organize a group outing. \nHere’s the plan: We will meet in front of the Public Library steps at 1:30 pm sharp\, then walk over to the food vendors as a group. After dining\, we will stroll around the holiday fair and pop into the Lodge for drinks. If you can’t make it to the Library at 1:30\, please plan to meet us near the 12 chairs booth (see the map link below) \nThey have a ton of different food options this year\, you are not required to only support 12 Chairs.
