Richie Unterberger will show and discuss clips from throughout Reiner’s memorable acting and directing career. His unique talent was to create scenes that encompassed and blended riotous comedy and serious drama as evidenced in Spinal Tap\, When Harry Met Sally\, Stand by Me\, The Princess Bride\, and A Few Good Men. We’ll also be treated to rare material from outtakes\, trailers\, and TV shows\, with some featuring his father\, the esteemed comedian Carl Reiner.  \nRock historian Richie Unterberger is the author of numerous rock history books\, including volumes on the Beatles\, the Who\, the Velvet Underground\, Bob Marley\, and 1960s folk-rock. DESCRIPTION:The first Friday of each month\, our Shabbat activities start a little later. Most months\, there is also a post-service dinner available for the 2239 Young Professionals group.\n \nWe invite you to end your week and welcome Shabbat with us!\nAt 6:30 pm and again after the service: Have something to eat (to tide you over or as your dinner)\, a drink (we offer a full bar\, plus non-alcoholic options)\, and connect with your community. \nKids are always welcome\, and they’ll be able to eat before (and after) the service\, play Connect 4\,  or create at a coloring table. \n7:00 pm – Our Shabbat service begins. \nWatch the Livestream \nAfter the service – Stay for dessert\, or more food and drinks! \nRegistration for the 2239 dinner coming soon! \nSpecial thanks to our musicians who add so much to the service.
