The Riverway Project of Temple Israel invites you to join us for our once-monthly Riverway Shabbat on Friday\, May 8! \nOur musical and inclusive Riverway Shabbat service will begin at 8:00pm\, followed by a chance to schmooze over drinks and desserts with old and new friends. The service and the dessert reception will remain open to anyone in their 20s &30s\, free of charge. For those joining us online\, the livestream of our service will begin at 8:00 p.m. \nJoin us for dinner* beginning at 6:45pm. We are pleased to cover the cost of this dinner for members of Temple Israel\, though we always welcome voluntary contributions. For non-members\, we ask for $18 to help offset the cost of food and drinks. \nMembership at Temple Israel is a great way to deepen your relationship with this community\, to stand up and be counted\, and to affirm your investment in vibrant\, accessible\, intergenerational Jewish space. Membership rates for young adults start at only $36 for your first year and if there is a hardship\, just let us know. If you are considering becoming a TI Member\, we’d love to welcome you into the family. DESCRIPTION:Meet up with NEXUS as we walk and talk our way through Central Park. \nBreathe in some fresh air and take in the natural beauty of the first landscaped park in the United States! We will meet at Engineer’s Gate — 5th Avenue and East 90th street. After our walk\, we will exit the park at West 80th Street and make our way to Tacombi for a relaxed Mexican dinner at 377 Amsterdam Avenue (at west 78th St). Dinner begins at 7:45 pm and is self-pay. \nNEXUS is the 92nd Street Y\, New York’s club for dynamic adults in their 50s and 60s interested in expanding their social networks while exploring unique\, specially curated opportunities from 92NY’s expansive offerings along with specially designed experiences exclusive to our NEXUS community! \nLearn about NEXUS membership and all it has to offer.
