DESCRIPTION:Molly (Alum 2001-2012) & Izzy (Alum 2012-2022) are excited to host a URJ Camp Harlam Reunion Shabbat for anyone living in or visiting Philly! Whether you went to Harlam as a kid or worked there as a staff member you are invited! \nTribe 12 will be our host for the evening\, making all of this possible. We will be meeting on the concourse level of the Weitzman Museum\, where our offices are based. The museum is ADA accessible. When you arrive head down the stairs or take the elevator down to C.  \nThere will be light schmoozing when you arrive and we will gather for Harlam style ritual and blessings at 6:45pm. There will be round tables set-up that seat up to 10 people and seating is open. Challah\, grape juice\, wine\, water\, seltzer\, and a vegetarian meal will be provided. It will be buffet style. A more detailed menu will be provided the day before the event.

They serve as the Head Writer and Executive Producer of Late Stage Live: a trans-led monthly late night comedy news show on Brooklyn public access [read about it in Them and Jezebel].Jeremy O. Harris recently shortlisted Reid’s play amino amino amino amino amino amino amino amino amino for the 2024 Yale Drama Prize. Reid’s play Holocaust Lit! was selected for Fault Line Theatre’s “Irons In The Fire” (2024) and their play Cuntboy & Dickgirl (or: Biology Play) received the Parity Productions Award. DESCRIPTION:Sign up for Shabbat Clusters and find your #ShabbatSquad! \n\n\n\nInterested in joining a community for Shabbat\, but don’t have a place to go? Want to meet new people with similar interests? Based on age\, neighborhood\, and/or interests\, we’ll organize curated small groups that will meet for monthly potluck dinners at each other’s homes\, local parks\, or restaurants in DC\, Maryland\, and Virginia. You do not need to be at every cluster gathering to sign up for the season. Open to young adults ages 21-45. \n\n\n\nThis fall\, we are creating new interest groups\, such as grad students\, solo parents\, new parents\, and Jews of Color. We are also partnering with several organizations to offer groups such as Adas Israel Congregation\, Washington Hebrew 2239\, Jewish Women International\, and Honeymoon Israel.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for an evening of art and conversation with Peleh Residency Artist Hila Amram\, a Tel Aviv-based artist bridging the worlds of art and science. The Neighborhood Curator Roxana Fabius will lead a discussion about how the intertwining of biology\, chemistry\, and archaeology with art open unprecedented creative and destructive possibilities.  \nHila Amram an Israeli-based multidisciplinary artist. Her work revolves around a continuous subjective research she conducts within her “artistic lab” which constitutes her creative space. Amram seeks to undermine the paradigms and typical practices within the respective fields of study\, at the same time revoking the\, some might say\, archaic hierarchy\, which strictly separates professional from hobbyists and sterile labs with strict sets of rules from centers with informal homely ambience which allow much improvisation. \nThe Neighborhood: An Urban Center for Jewish Life is a Jewish community and cultural center in Brooklyn. We produce programs that raise up underrepresented perspectives and welcome the thousands of Brooklynites that have not yet found their Jewish home. We are creating a welcoming space that reflects the spirit of Brooklyn–future-thinking and deeply historical\, iconoclastic\, and sacred. \nThe Peleh Residency\, based in Berkeley\, CA and Brooklyn\, NY\, offers artists across all genres the time\, space and support to practice their craft. Designed to accommodate artists with families\, the residency provides a space apart for retreat\, reflection and art making\, and an opportunity to foster new collaborations\, audiences and connections.
