DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special edition of our Monthly Shabbat Dinner\, with intentional seating\, games\, and good vibes! Based on your answers to the questions on our registration form\, we will intentionally place you at tables for the meal. Silly ice breaker questions\, fun games\, and thought-provoking conversation topics will be provided! \nYALA will be joining us this month! YALA (Young Adults\, Leaders\, and Alumni) is a community for Jewish young adults in their 20s and 30s powered by the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. YALA strives to create fun\, impactful\, and relevant Jewish experiences. \nWe will serve Mexican food for dinner! We will light Shabbat candles\, enjoy a vegetarian meal and enjoy the peace of Shabbat with each other. There will be light schmoozing when you arrive and we will gather for ritual and blessings at 6:45pm. Challah\, grape juice\, wine\, water\, seltzer\, and a vegetarian meal will be provided. It will be buffet style. A more detailed menu will be provided the day before the event. This dinner is being hosted as part of a partnership between OneTable and Tribe 12. DESCRIPTION:A Nice Jewish Gathering for Singles in their 40s – 60s  \n“This gathering grew out of a shared desire – especially in the wake of October 7th – to deepen Jewish connection\, community\, and continuity\,” said co-organizer\, Nomi Moradzadeh.  “In a time when many in the Jewish community feel shaken\, isolated\, or simply in need of one another\, we want to bring people together the old-fashioned way: in the same room\, over good conversation\,” continued Moradzadeh. \n“At its heart\, this event is inspired by Kol Yisrael arevim zeh bazeh\, the idea that all Jews are responsible for one another\,” said co-organizer\, Jessica Mullens Engelman.  “This gathering affirms the idea that strengthening one another strengthens the whole\, and that community is built one conversation at a time.” \nOkay\, yes\, it’s a singles event. And yes\, romance is welcome. But\, at its core\, this evening is about building Jewish life in real time: meeting others who share values\, heritage\, and a sense of belonging.  Whether guests leave with a spark\, a new friend\, or simply the comfort of a fun evening in the company of fellow Jews who ‘get it\,’ the goal is connection. No speed dating\, no name-tag panic – just a warm\, welcoming space to show up as you are and see what unfolds.
