He is expected to marry the Rabbi’s daughter\, which disrupts the balance of the whole town. In one unflinching shot\, this film presents a day in the life of a Jewish village before it disappears. SHTTL is the story of the inhabitants of a Yiddish Ukrainian village at the border of Poland\, 24 hours before the Nazi invasion\, known as Operation Barbarossa. We’re on a mission to find the Jewish thrill-seekers\,\nboundary-breakers and dare devils of Metro Detroit — and do what they do!\nBring your sense of adventure\, because we’re hanging up our Good Jewish\nBoy/Girl/Person hats and doing something _meshugana_ for a change. \nOn this edition of Rebel Jews\, we’re putting down our space lasers and picking\nup our laser guns. But seriously folks\, forget the black light meets neon duct\ntape laser tag of your youth\, this is a serious simulation. MI-Combat Tactical\nLaser Tag is not for the timid. We’ll be jumping into an immersive gaming\nexperience\, competing in thrilling missions on Hollywood style sets and using\nrealistic equipment with live noise and recoil. DESCRIPTION:Still Alive is a social arts project that brings people together to draw Jewish buildings and the people within them\, aiming to capture the living nature of the Jewish community. Sessions are running across London in 2025/26\, supported by a Limmud microgrant. The group offers a unique way to observe surroundings and meet new people\, with no prior drawing experience required. Materials will be provided\, and participants will engage in warm-up sketching activities before freely drawing the JW3 building and its occupants (with permission). \n**Josh Dresner** is an amateur sketcher with several years of experience and adult classes under his belt. He works as a design researcher for the UK government. \n**Abigail** is described as terrible at drawing but sociable\, and is passionate about celebrating the Jewish community. \n**Please note:** A booking fee of £2 and a security levy of £1.50 will be added to all orders.
