Are you a great writer who can tell a story about random topics? Are you knowledgeable and passionate about Judaims and Israel and excited by the chance to tell our people’s story? Well then maybe you’re the scriptwriter we’re looking for. The person who can question, re-frame and tackle tough questions head-on–someone who can tell an engaging story complete with conflict, character and narrative progression, and cultural references. The scripts should be written in a casual, fast-paced, succinct and infotainment style, reflecting the voice and tone of our channel. Writers will collaborate with the producer and host, as well as with other members of the film team.

Unpacked uses fast-paced, fact-filled and thought-provoking short videos to help high school and college students untangle the complexities of Israel and Judaism. We break down complex issues into bite-size pieces that will challenge, engage and even provoke you as you develop your own views on a ton of different subjects.
At Unpacked, we don’t hide from tough subjects, or shy away from complex issues. Nor do we oversimplify complexity. Our videos may be short, but they’re definitely not short on information.
