The challenges of 2020 have prompted us to look inward and reflect on our values of social justice, diversity, and how they relate to our Jewish roots.
This year, the Triad Jewish Film Festival debuts stories of human connection, empathy, and partnership by celebrating the Global Diversity of Judaism. From Ethiopian Jews who speak their truth after decades of silence, Jews of color who take a stand against violence, historical lessons about Black-Jewish cooperation, and Palestinian and Israeli chefs who dismiss politics in the kitchen — all seven films embody the diverse fabric that makes up the global Jewish people.
For freedom and equality for all can only be achieved when we work together.
The Triad Jewish Film Festival (TJFF) presents the best and brightest cinematic moments from Israeli and Jewish cinema, and affords community members the opportunity to see Jewish films that are not readily available.
