Jewish Democratic Council of America

The Jewish Democratic Council of America (JDCA), also known as ‘Jewish Dems,’ is the political home and voice of Jewish voters in the United States. Founded in 2017, JDCA advocates for policies and supports Democratic candidates and elected officials who share progressive, pro-Israel, and Jewish community values. The organization works to advance Jewish values and priorities within the Democratic Party and to strengthen the Democratic Party’s standing within the Jewish community.

JDCA promotes like-minded candidates and elected officials and embraces a platform grounded in fairness, integrity, the Jewish value of Tikkun Olam (repairing the world), and a strong U.S.-Israel relationship. Through educational programming, advocacy campaigns, voter mobilization efforts, and electoral support, JDCA serves as the primary national organization combining Jewish values advocacy with a Democratic political agenda.

Headquartered in Washington, DC, JDCA empowers Jewish Americans to take political action through petitions, letters to Congress, and direct engagement with members of the House and Senate. The organization regularly publishes press releases, weekly wrap-ups, and resources such as their annual Passover Seder Companion, connecting Jewish tradition with progressive political values.
