As we begin the new year, we come together for a life-affirming Shabbat of reflection and friendship. We’ll hold space to honor the memory of the October 7th attacks and celebrate the warm, vibrant community we’ve built together.
Join Rabbinic Intern Brooklyn and our vibrant 20s and 30s community for Simchat Torah festivities at B’nai Jeshurun. Begin at 6:00 pm with drinks and appetizers at Amsterdam Ale House (15-person limit). Can’t make it for drinks? Meet us outside B’nai Jeshurun at 7:20 pm for an unforgettable city-wide celebration! Dance, sing, and learn as we rejoice in completing our Torah’s final book. Let’s celebrate as a community – your presence matters!
Everyone’s favorite Atid Event is Back: Sushi in the Sukkah! We’ll bring in Sukkot together with delicious sushi under our Sukkah!

Celebrate Yom Kippur 5785 with Sholom 20s & 30s! Join us for Kol Nidrei by Candlelight, a musical, reflective service that will leave you feeling inspired and connected. Led by Rabbi Deborah Goldberg and other Congregation Rodeph Sholom clergy and staff, we hope you’ll join us for our inaugural Sholom 20s & 30s Kol Nidrei experience.
Join Tribe 12 and YALA (USY’s alumni organization) to begin Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonment, as a community. We will be serving an early pre-fast dinnner starting at 4:30 pm, followed by a welcoming musical and accessible Kol Nidre Service at 6 PM. Services will be followed by an opportunity to connect to the themes of the holiday through introspective discussion, meditation and learning. All are welcome regardless of background, and we welcome folks new to Kol Nidre!

We are excited to welcome you to our annual Garden Event, DFI LA’s biggest event of the year! At our event this year, we will commemorate the victims of the horrific October 7 attack on Israel by the terror organization Hamas, honor community leaders who have demonstrated strong support for Israel and also honor elected officials who have consistently supported Israel and who been fighters against antisemitism and hate. The DFI LA Garden Event will be on September 29 from 3:30 to 6:30 PM.
