Grab your friends and get ready to ride through the streets of our nation’s capital on Sunday, October 6th, as we roll in the new year with a Taschlich Ride. Join Rabbi Amalia from Gather DC for tashlich, a cathartic tradition for the Jewish New Year in which we toss pieces of old bread into a body of water to symbolically cast away regrets and disappointments from the past year. (Bread will be provided at the site)
Get into the spirit of the Jewish New Year as we learn to braid a round challah for Rosh Hashanah, as well as a traditional loaf. Share a special evening of community & unity with a diverse group of Jewish women and girls of all ages & stages.
