This inclusive service featuring Sixth & I’s musicians and guest leaders Dr. Harriette Wimms and Rabbi Koach Baruch Frazier blends contemporary and traditional elements for an experience that feels both familiar and fresh. Dr. Wimms is an ordained Kohenet (Jewish Priestess), prayer leader, psychologist, and social justice advocate from Baltimore. Rabbi Koach is an audiologist, musician, and activist based in Philadelphia.

Join Rabbi Amalia from Gather DC for tashlich, a cathartic tradition for the Jewish New Year in which we toss pieces of old bread into a body of water to symbolically cast away regrets and disappointments from the past year. (Bread will be provided at the site)
Get into the spirit of the Jewish New Year as we learn to braid a round challah for Rosh Hashanah, as well as a traditional loaf. Share a special evening of community & unity with a diverse group of Jewish women and girls of all ages & stages.
