Marc Zeplin lost his life on September 11, 2001, while working for Cantor Fitzgerald in the World Trade Center. At 33 years old, he left behind his wife and two children. To honor Marc’s legacy and his love for his children, our family created the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation.
This year, we are focusing our fundraising towards organizations that support children with special needs and young athletes in underprivileged communities, including the Drew Hassenbein Foundation, the Organization for Autism Research (OAR) and the Anchor Program Fund. We will also support Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Children’s Center, the Marc Zeplin Scholarship Fund, and other organizations that support the physical, social, emotional, and educational needs of children.
The Marc S. Zeplin Foundation stands in complete solidarity with the state of Israel. We know first hand the devastating impact of terrorism and our thoughts are with our neighbors, friends and family of Israel. Our foundation is committed to expanding and directing our fundraising efforts to support children and families impacted by these terrorist acts.
