September 5, a moving historical docudrama starring Peter Sarsgaard and Ben Chaplin, unveils the decisive moment that forever changed media coverage. Set during the 1972 Munich Summer Olympics, the film follows the ABC Sports broadcasting crew who quickly shifted from sports reporting to live coverage of the Israeli athletes taken hostage by a terrorist group, showcasing the intense and emotional experience of live broadcasting during a global tragedy. It includes a lot of archive footage from the actual live coverage.
The film is spoken in English, German and Hebrew with English subtitles. Runtime 94 mins
