Article Club: Friendship Breakups

Please note this is now on Thursday, July 17!
Like book club, but for those of us who may run out of time (or patience!) to read a whole book. Join Base UWS each month to discuss a new topic. The only things we ask is that you please read the three articles ahead of time, come with an open mind and willingness to learn, and to BYO picnic/snacks!
This month’s topic will be Friendship Breaks. Articles linked here: We Need to Talk About Our Ex-Best Friends, What breaking up with my best friend taught me about male friendship, One Year After October 7, Here’s How Relationships in the Jewish Community Have Changed.
This month we’ll be meeting in central park picnic from 7-8:30 (around near sheep meadow- exact location provided to those attending). Have a topic for a future article club or want to run the discussion? Let us know!
Contact Rabbi Danny (danny.stein@memglobal.org) with any questions.

We kindly ask that you do not come to events if you are feeling ill. We currently do not require Covid testing or face masks; we have face masks available for those who want one.
