Asian Jews Game Night

Hello Asian Jews of Chicago! You’re invited to join us at Snakes and Lattes this May for a night of board games, puzzles, and bonding. Choose from the dozens of games in the cafe’s board game library and feel free to order some food and libations as we take the time and space to unwind in good company. And be sure to sign up early, because the number of people who can attend will be limited to 11 due to the availability of space in the cafe’s private rooms!

Who’s invited?

This event is open/limited to Asian American Jews. LUNAR defines ‘Asian American Jews’ as folks who identify as both Jewish (whether by heritage, religion or culture) and Asian American – this includes mixed race folks, transracial adoptees, Asian Jews by Choice, and more. We fully welcome those in the process of converting to Judaism, or simply exploring Judaism.

Cost

This event is free to attend, with a suggested donation of $25. Donations help to cover food and supplies, venue and insurance costs, and equitable compensation for our organizers and staff.

Additional information

– Photographs will likely be taken at the event for the purposes of promoting future events. If you don’t want to appear in photographs, feel free to let the local event organizer know and we will be happy to accommodate you!

– To access the private room we will be using you must take the stairs down to the event-space’s lower level. This means this event might be difficult to attend for those with limited mobility that prevents them from taking stairs! We are very sorry and there will be other events with better accessibility in the future.
