Atid Outdoors: Hike Backbone Bridge from Will Rodgers State Park!

Join ATID on Sunday, February 11th at 9:45 AM for a 4 mile (round-trip) hike with 775 feet elevation gain to the Backbone Bridge from Will Rodgers State Park! The hike features views of Santa Monica and much of the westside and is expected to take about two hours.
In accordance with Sinai Temple’s COVID-19 protocols (https://www.sinaitemple.org/covid-19/), please stay home if you are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms or have been directly exposed to someone with Covid-19.
Bring: At least two liters of water, good hiking shoes, long pants, sun protection (sunscreen, hat), layered clothing, a snack, and of course a big smile on your face!
Transportation/Parking: Use GPS Coordinates 34.0543, -118.5133. Parking is $12 in Will Rodgers State Park. Limited free roadside parking is available just outside the park entrance. Or take the 602 bus from Westwood to Sunset/Evans and follow the Sunset Trail (see map: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ny2mbkim4gw27pn/200216map.jpg) to our meeting point.
Dogs: Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on all sections of our route.
