Are you going to Be The Change? Though we may feel helpless during the war in Israel, each individual CAN affect change in their own way, even from afar.

Join Just Cause Events on January 7th to impact Israel in multiple ways. For the first half of the evening, mingle with Young Jewish professionals, enjoy drinks & appetizers, and learn about the different ways to support Israel on an individual level.

For the second portion of the evening, transition into a crash course on Israel presented by Fuel For Truth, an organization dedicated to providing meaningful and effective Jewish Education. Fuel For Truth will unpack the core components of the conflict to understand their deeper complexities, and how they contribute to the current Middle East dynamic.

The proceeds for this event will be split between two important Israel causes. You can decide where your dollar goes.

1) 282nd Artillery Fire Brigade of the IDF, 36th Division: This unit of the IDF specializes in coordinating strikes at enemy positions and helps clear threats in Gaza. Rabbi Josh Gerstein serves as the Chaplain Captain who makes sure that all of his soldiers receive the mental, emotional, and physical items for the support they need to keep carrying out their mission. Examples of ongoing support items being provided/need to be maintained for the 282 Brigade: prayer items, tented synagogue with torah scrolls, menorahs.

2) Jewish National Fund (JNF): The Jewish National Fund-USA has worked in close partnership for decades with the communities on the Gaza border and is uniquely prepared to assist in meeting the emergency needs created by the current crisis and the long-term needs of tomorrow. They assist with directly supporting the needs of evacuees from the Gaza envelope and the Northern border, providing trauma therapy for survivors, protective equipment, and much more. JNF-USA promises to rebuild the communities in the south that were devastated by the October 7th attack.
