“Shortly after his father Edgar’s death Tel Aviv-based filmmaker Bobby Lax visits his native England and discover a suitcase full of photos and personal letters Edgar, often difficult and distant, had hidden about his Kindertransport experience.  Bobby turns to Manuel, his German-born childhood friend, who accompanies Bobby to Berlin to find the missing pieces of their respective family stories.”
