Q&A to follow screening with June Squibb and writer Tory Kamen
Directorial Debut from actress
Scarlett Johansson
Written by: Tory Kamen
Starring: June Squibb (“Thelma”), Erin Kellyman, Chiwetel Ejiofor
In “Eleanor The Great,” June Squibb brings to vivid life the witty and proudly troublesome 94-year-old Eleanor Morgenstein. After seventy years with her best friend, Eleanor moves to New York City for a fresh start. Making new friends at ninety proves difficult. Longing for connection, she befriends a 19-year-old student (Erin Kellyman) and tells a tale that takes on a dangerous life of its own. Scarlett Johanssonโs directorial debut is a comically poignant exploration of how the stories we hear become the stories we tell.
