Passover is the story of liberation. At Jewish Vegan Life, we believe that story is still unfolding.
Join us for our second annual Vegan Passover Seder in a few blocks from the ocean in Los Angeles, where Jewish tradition and plant-based living come together to express the deepest values of our heritage: compassion, conscious living, and responsibility for the world we share.
Through ritual, conversation, and a delicious plant-based Passover feast, we will explore how Judaism can inspire a more compassionate future, and how each of us can be part of that transformation.

A Delicious Vegan Passover Feast
Enjoy a fully plant-based Passover meal that reimagines traditional holiday flavors with vibrant vegan dishes.
A Meaningful and Inspiring Seder Experience
Guided by Jewish Vegan Life’s custom Vegan Haggadah, the evening will explore the spiritual themes of Passover through the lens of compassion and living in alignment with our highest Jewish values.
Community and Conversation
Gather with a warm and welcoming community of people who care about Jewish tradition, caring for all across our planet, and building a more compassionate world.
Leading our Seder this year will be Rabbi Jonathan Bernhard, a vegan rabbi and Jewish educator committed to exploring the moral dimensions of Jewish life and tradition. With 25 years of congregational experience, he is now the rabbi of Temple Shalom of the South Bay, where he continues to inspire thoughtful engagement with Jewish ethics, compassion, and sustainability. He has also co-founded the Valley Chevra Kadisha to help advance green burial practices within the Jewish community. Rabbi Bernhard and his wife Laurie live in the San Fernando Valley.
