Hot Pot Shabbat-O-Ween

Ages 20s, 30s, 40s

Boo! Come meet the Chicago Hub and our new fellows for hot pot! We are so excited chat, play some games, and have a spooky-ooky evening 🙂 This event is open to Asian American Jews. LUNAR defines ‘Asian American Jews’ as folks who identify as both Jewish (whether by heritage, religion or culture) and Asian American – this includes mixed race folks, transracial adoptees, Asian Jews by Choice, and more. We fully welcome those in the process of converting to Judaism, or simply exploring Judaism. This event is free to attend, with a suggested donation of $10. Donations help to cover food and supplies, venue and insurance costs, and equitable compensation for our organizers and staff. This is the section to include any of the following: Accessibility info relating to the space or the activities Anything participants should bring or prepare ahead of time If food will be served COVID policy, if applicable (LUNAR doesn’t have a COVID policy, but you or the venue can require participants to wear masks, show proof of vaccination, or test negative) If photography or videography will take place at the event Dress code, if applicable (e.g. “Dress warmly, as it will be cold outside” or “Wear comfortable clothes”) Organized by: Tori Markin (she/her), tori@weareasianjews.org
