Jewish Poetry Workshop
What makes Jewish poetry distinctive? Part text study and part creative writing exercises, this workshop led by Rabbi Nora explores the poetry of Jewish prayer and the writing of Jewish poets like Yehuda Amichai, Rivka Miriam, Leah Goldberg, and others, whose work will hopefully inspire you to get in touch with your own poetic voice. You’ll have the opportunity to write in response to prompts in the second half of class.
Participants will receive a zoom link to the virtual class in their confirmation email, 48 hours, 2 hours, and 10 minutes before the class begins.
