JICNY-JRoots Journey is a chance to connect with your Jewish heritage in a rich and meaningful way. Jews have built their lives across the world for thousands of years and we ensure that our journeys rekindle some of that life even in the darkest places where the Jews themselves do not remain.
Poland was home to Jews for almost a thousand years and produced some of the greatest Jewish scholars, philosophers, scientists and artists. On the eve of World War Two over three and a half million Jews lived in Poland. A JRoots journey to Poland deals with a thousand years of life as well as the tragic end of one of the world’s greatest Jewish communities.
Led by outstanding educator and Holocaust historian, Rabbi Yitzchak Rubenstein.
