Have you been seeking the right space to explore Judaism? We’d love to learn with you in our home, Base UWS! Led by Rabbi Danny, we’re creating a room where folks with all sorts of backgrounds and identities can learn together. Together, we’ll explore Shabbat, God, Tzedakah (Charity), Holidays, Prayer, & Jewish History over the course of the Jewish Year 5786. Each topic is a cohort consisting of 4 classes and Shabbat dinner at Base UWS.

Our Shabbat cohort will run meet on these Tuesdays from 8:00-9:30PM at Base UWS:

November 24 (*Monday*)
+ Shabbat Dinner on Friday, November 7 at 7:30PM.

What is the cost?

A suggested donation of $18 per person (includes all 4 classes and Shabbat dinner) can be made HERE. Please let us know if the donation is prohibitive, and you are more than welcome to join regardless.

Do I need to be Jewish?

Nope, we welcome anybody who is excited to learn and in the Base UWS demographic of 20s + 30s.

Do I need to sign up for all six cohorts?

Nope, you can just signup for the topics that interest you.

Do I need to attend all sessions of this cohort?

We do expect that folks attend all sessions, and of course we know that life happens and sometimes it isn’t possible to attend a session.
