Join us for a festive night of music, food, celebration, and the presentation to centenarian Norman Lear of the Kumah Festival’s Rise Up Award, in recognition of Mr. Lear’s life at the intersection of faith, art, and politics. The evening will feature special guests Emily Hampshire (Schitt’s Creek, and star of the upcoming remake of Lear’s Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman), Maggie Lear (daughter to Mr. Lear), and the esteemed honoree himself via Zoom from Mr. Lear’s home in Los Angeles.
